Welcome to Robert Lince Early Learning Center

Dear Families,

Welcome to the Robert Lince Early Learning Center! We are so excited to welcome you and your child to the Selah School District family!  The beginning of school is such an exciting season in your child’s life and it is an honor and privilege to be a part of it.

Our early learning center with the new kindergarten building and renovated preschool create one big early learning campus! In Selah, we know that every student is worthy and capable of making meaningful contributions to his or her community and we believe that together with students, parents, and our community we will cultivate a culture of lifelong learning for all. In Selah, we believe in equity and access for all students. We are excited to offer blended preschool classrooms where all students can learn together and have their unique learning needs met. Special education and bilingual education services will be part of these classrooms.

Our core purpose here in Selah is that all children learn at high levels.  We want our students to be future ready by being able to collaborate, innovate, communicate, show empathy and resilience. We also believe that strong character is at the heart of preparing our students for lifelong success.

At Robert Lince Early Learning Center we believe that Viking PRIDE starts here. We instill in our students the importance of:

  • Being Kind
  • Being Safe
  • Working Hard

Our goal is to deliver the Viking Promise in which we meet the needs of the whole child by creating an equity centered, engaging and personalized learning experience in an emotionally and physically safe environment for each child in the Selah School District Preschool and Kindergarten. This is the Viking Way!

Thank you for entrusting us with your child. Please reach out to us if we can answer any questions about your child’s early learning experience. We look forward to serving you!
